Program for 24 day Ayahuasca Workshop and Introductory Plant Dieta
Day One
1 hour journey by river boat on the Rio Nanay then 30 minute walk through jungle to the Temple campus.
Introduction to the Curandero. Traditional welcome drink.
General discussion on Amazonian Curanderoism and plant medicines.
Decide on which plant to diet and commence plant diet.
Individual initial consultations with the Curandero.
Evening meal at 8pm – strict food diet commences in addition to plant diet (which is drunk).
Day Two
Plant diet continues.
Breakfast between 8 and 10 am.
Walk into the jungle to identify and get to know various medicinal plants and their uses.
Lunch between 12 and 2 pm.
Individual consultations with the Curandero.
Ayahuasca ceremony at 8pm
Day Three
Plant diet continues.
Breakfast between 8 and 10 am.
First "Bano de Florecimiento" - Limpieza (cleaning physical, emotional and spiritual bodies to remove negativity stored up in your body) at 12 pm
Lunch between 1 and 2 pm.
Group discussion on personal animal spirits.
Individual consultations with the Curandero.
Preparation of Ayahuasca.
Free evening to reflect and relax.
Evening meal at 8.00pm
Day Four
Cooking of Ayahuasca (group to participate in the process) at 6.00am Breakfast between 8 and 10 am.
Plant diet continues.
Lunch between 12 and 2 pm.
Individual consultations with the Curandero.
Ayahuasca ceremony at 8pm (or evening meal for those not participating)Preparation of Ayahuasca (group to participate in the process)
Day Five
Plant diet continues.
Breakfast between 8 and 10 am.
Lunch between 12 and 2 pm.
Individual consultations with the Curandero.
Free evening to reflect and relax.
Evening meal at 8.00pm
Day Six
Plant diet continues.
Breakfast between 8 and 10 am.
Second "Bano de Florecimiento" - Flores Blancas (helps bring Light to your body, aids with feeling more relaxed and helps removes bad dreams) at 12pm
Lunch between 1 and 2 pm.
Individual consultations with the Curandero.
Boat trip to 2 nearby "cochas" (lagoons) / opportunity to swim in the lagoons.
Ayahuasca ceremony at 8pm (or evening meal for those not participating)
Day Seven
Plant diet continues.
Breakfast between 8 and 10 am.
Lunch between 12 and 2 pm.
Individual consultations with the Curandero.
Free evening to reflect and relax.
Evening meal at 8.00pm
Day Eight
Plant diet continues.
Breakfast between 8 and 10 am.
Lunch between 12 and 2 pm.
Individual consultations with the Curandero.
Ayahuasca ceremony at 8pm (or evening meal for those not participating)
Bano de pusanga – bath with Pusanga at 12pm (this bath is for the positive energy of Pusanga to help you attract positivity in work, love, friendships, etc).
Day Nine
Plant diet continues.
Breakfast between 8 and 10 am.
Third “Bano de Florecimiento” – Purificacion (purificacion bath for your spirit and mind, to bring spirits to your dreams and visions to help teach you, protection against bad spirits, good to remove negativity and to bring good luck) at 12 pm.
Lunch between 1 and 2 pm.
Walk into the jungle for further identification of medicinal plants.
Individual consultations with the Curandero.
Free evening to reflect and relax.
Evening meal at 8.00pm
Day Ten
Plant diet continues.
Breakfast between 8 and 10 am.
Lunch between 12 and 2 pm.
Optional fishing trip
Individual consultations with the Curandero.
Ayahuasca ceremony at 8pm (or evening meal for those not participating)
Day Eleven
Plant diet continues.
Breakfast between 8 and 10 am.
Lunch between 12 and 2 pm.

Day Twelwe to Twenty Two
Similar program to the previous 10 days at the Temple although with the following additions:
3 further “Banos de Florecimiento” in 3 day intervals continuing from previous 3 floral baths:
No 4 – Bano de Pusanga – from naturally perfumed roots, bark, flowers and leaves - to attract whatever you are looking for in your life, i.e. love, fortune, friendships, family, etc – day 12.
No 5 – Bano de Flores - flowers from the jungle – further cleaning of your mind, emotions and spirit, aids with spiritual tranquillity – day 15.
No 6 – Bano de Arcana - cuts from tree barks with perfumes – to give spiritual protection (amour) against bad spirits / negativity.
3 further walks into the jungle to identify more medicinal plants and collect leaves for a shacapa.
Session on how to make a shacapa (rattle)
6 further Ayahuasca ceremonies.
Day Twenty Three
Final day in Temple campus.
Finish plant diet.
Final consultations with the Curandero.
Farewell meal and “cut” the plant diet.
Meditation closing ceremony at 9pm
Day Twenty Four
Breakfast between 8 and 10 am.
12 pm - walk to the Rio Nanay for return boat trip and transport back to Iquitos.
