Founder of the Temple of the Way of Light, Matthew is based in the UK and travels to Peru 6  / 7 times a year. Following through with the vision he received in 2007 when he first built the Temple, his goal was to provide an authentic healing center where the focus is not financial gain but genuine healing, ceremonies with compassion and where the healers truly care for the guests.

Matthew was led to the Maestras through a series of synchronicities and has dedicated his life to developing the Temple to now become a highly respected healing center with a fast growing reputation for providing a safe, compassionate and protected environment to work with Ayahuasca and the Master plants of the Amazon. His dream is now being realised as word of mouth is really spreading about our work from the people who count - the guests of the Temple who have undergone profound and often life changing healing.

Matthew deals with all enquiries, bookings, promotion, and general publicity of the Temple as well as other "back end" operations essential to keep the Temple running smoothly. He is deeply committed to the healing of all guests, to the well-being of the Maestras and to presenting the healing potential of the Medicine & the Master plants - he feels extremely blessed to be involved in this work. 

Matthew has put in place a hard working, experienced and deeply committed team to hold workshops and operate the Temple. He is in contact with the team and the Maestras generally on a daily basis and coordinates all aspects of the Temple whilst also concentrating on ensuring that people find the Temple and that the message about our work is heard.

Matthew is also focused on setting up an NGO to raise funds for projects in the Shipibo communities and we expect to be able to release more information about these projects by Spring 2010.
