Workshop Coordinator

Throughout her nine years of work and study in South America, plant medicine and traditional healing practices have been a critical element of Lucine’s healing work. Since 2001 she has participated in Ayahuasca ceremonies with shamanic healers from various tribes throughout Colombia, Ecuador and Peru, as well as served as a translator and assistant for these healing ceremonies.

Lucine’s work has been a path of healing, which has taken her to work around the world. Her primary focus has been empowering people to transform traumatic experiences into the opportunity for growth and renewal.  She is also trained as a yoga teacher, as well as in massage from the Kripalu Center for Yoga and Health in Lenox, MA, USA .  She is further trained in mediation and facilitation of intergroup dialogues and has an MA and MPhil in Conflict Resolution from Bradford University in the UK.  Her work and research in the field of healing and reconciliation from violence and conflict has won her a Fulbright Scholarship in Colombia as well as the Rotary World Peace Fellowship.

Lucine continued her path of work in healing and transformation by becoming a certified Life Coach, and has been focused on empowering people to transform their personal struggles and challenges into the opportunities to make powerful life choices and realize their full potential.   She works both in one on one coaching and holds group workshops, integrating all of her previous work in yoga and conflict transformation.

Throughout Lucine’s work with healing and reconciliation she has learned to view “problems” as possibilities, and she empowers the people that she works with to transform and transcend past limitations as a source of opportunity and growth.
