Overview of our shamanic healing workshops and apprenticeship programs
The work carried out at the Temple of the Way of light is focused on holistic healing using spiritual energy and plant medicine. The Temple is open to anyone who is seriously committed to the healing of their body, mind, emotions and spirit and who is looking for a deeper understanding of themselves and the spirit world which surrounds us all.
We work with various levels of participants and provide personal attention and guidance providing regular consultations with the Shamans and group talks about our experiences and the ceremonies. We are dedicated to helping people discover their true self often hidden due to the stress and strain of living in the Western World and to guide them to find an overwhelming spiritual balance.
The Temple is not run for profit and our prices reflect this. We work in three distinct fields:
- We offer general energetic and spiritual healing to those who visit us to experience ayahuasca to return to their lives to spread the message of peace and the often overwhelming personal development experienced at the Temple.
- For those who are focused on deep longer term spiritual development, comprehensive understanding of Shamanism and Plant Medicine and who are ready to take their path to another level, we offer various levels of shamanic training from 3 week initiation courses to a full apprenticeship of up to three years.
- We also offer specific focused healing for those afflicted with disease and llness who are looking for a non Western, shamanic medical approach.
Our ayahuasca ceremonies are conducted by Javier Arevalo Shahuano and numerous other traditional Curanderos All are disciplined and spiritually-principled maestro ayahuasceros who work with the “doctores esprituales” (the spirit doctors) and the healing spirits of the Earth, Water, Plants and Heavens. Both are dedicated to and enjoy both healing and teaching and are unusual in their passion for sharing their ancient knowledge with a clear vision for the future of mankind; to raise consciousness and reconnect with Nature, Spirit and the ultimate truth. They are extraordinarily gifted, humble, warm and gentle Shamans who are open to working with Westerners provided they come from the right space / have good hearts. They radiate positive healing energy and profound wisdom.
What’s included:
- Comfortable single-occupancy lodging (in our individual tambos).
- Alll meals and drinks at the retreat.
- Ayahuasca cleansing and healing ceremonies.
- Purifying, cleansing and revitalising floral baths (banos de florecimientos).
- Medicinal and purgative plants carefully-selected for highest quality and potency used for body, mind, emotions and spiritual cleansing.
- Transportation to / from the Temple.
- Tuition fees and materials.
- Personal diagnoses and consultations with the Maestros.
- Participation in the preparation of the Ayahuasca medicine.
- Plant diets (for those staying over 3 weeks).
What is not included:
- Airfare.
- Airport taxes.
- Accommodation costs in Iquitos.
- Travellers' insurance.
- Restaurant meals in Iquitos.
Essential restrictions:
- To reduce the excess of sugar, salt, meat, coffee, fizzy drinks and spicy foods within seven days before coming to the Temple.
- Do not eat pork seven days beforehand.
- Sexual abstention seven days beforehand is prefable and essential during your time at the Temple.
- Marihuana and Alcohol are not compatible with our work.
- Whilst staying at the Temple, we will eliminate salt and sugar and introduce special diets.
